Before I moved to the USA I worked for a very big oil company in Russia. Lots of travels, new people, responsibilities. It was a very busy job where I was away from home half of the month. It was really hard as I was a single mom and being away from my son was tough. I liked my job, but I never felt satisfied. It always felt temporary.

When I moved to the USA the faith brought me to work as a makeup artist for a cosmetic brand. I loved working with new clients, doing makeup. I grew to become a counter manager. But again, I haven’t felt satisfied.

I feel I’ve always had that artistic part in me that has never been used before and that is why I’ve never been professionally happy. Working with cosmetics brand got me thinking about doing permanent makeup.
